Book Review: The Girls Guide to Getting Hitched by Sophie Hart

I received a copy of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this book. Sophie has created some believeable characters who the reader can identify with. Julia, trying to juggle being a mother and wife with building her career as an events organiser; and the women she brings together: Gill, trying to build relationships and keep her blended family happy; Debbie, struggling with her weight (I can definitely identify with her!); and Amy, who (according to her future mother-in-law) is definitely punching above her weight.

The mother-in-law is an absolute snobby nightmare, and provides the perfect villain for the story.

The novel was a joy to read and I will be seeking out Sophie’s previous novels. A lovely feel-good read.
